Dr. Nicholas Roemmelt
The German dentist Dr. Nicholas Roemmelt lives in Tyrol, Austria, and is a nature photographer in his secondary profession. His photos of the stars and landscapes have received worldwide recognition and awards.
The autodidactic and enthusiastic mountaineer puts his main focus on "starscaping", i.e. star-landscape photography. Nicholas was one of the first to receive international recognition for this special kind of photography. He often spends hours in the cold night trying to catch the right moment. But the waiting is worthwhile, as his impressive shootings show.
