ARE THE WARMERS REUSABLE?

The reaction can be stopped by air-tight packaging. Heating can be continued at a later time by exposing the warmer to air again. However, this does not extend the total duration of the warmth period. 1 zip bag for airtight packaging is included with each order.

HOW ARE THE WARMERS DISPOSED OF?

After use, our heat pads can be disposed of in normal household waste (residual waste). They contain 100% natural, non-toxic ingredients.

HOW LONG CAN THE WARMERS BE USED?

Warmers work for several years if unopened.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN BODY WARMERS AND MULTI-WARMERS?

The warmth output of the body warmer is at least 12 hours. Body warmers are self-adhesive on one side and can be attached to the underwear or inside of your garment. The heat duration of the multi-warmers is at least 20 hours. They have no adhesive function.

MY WARMING PADS DO NOT WARM UP PROPERLY. WHAT CAN I DO?

The development of the warmth is directly dependent on the oxygen available in the environment. If the heat development is not optimal, we recommend packing the warmers for several minutes in a "semi-closed environment" (e.g. jacket pocket), preferably 2 pieces together, as the pads warm each other up. Never leave warming pads open for activation, but always in a semi-closed environment such as a jacket or trouser pocket until they are pleasantly warm.

CAN WARMERS BE USED WHILE SLEEPING?

The warmth generated by the warmers is transported and distributed throughout the body by the circulating blood. This process can be disrupted when warmers are pressed firmly against the skin. This could slow down blood flow, which can also happen during sleep. The warmth will not be optimally distributed, but concentrated on a small area of skin, which is then warmed up disproportionately. MInor burns can result. In such a case, the affected skin area needs to be cooled and a doctor should be consulted.

MAY WARMERS BE USED BY CHILDREN?

Warmers may only be used on children under supervision. The warmers are NOT to be used on young children and infants due to their thin and delicate skin. Morever, children are usually not capable of articulating themselves in case the warmers get too warm.

CAN  I USE THE WARMES ALSO AT EXTREME HEIGHTS?

The functionality of our products is optimised for use in European latitudes. The majority of our customers use the warmers in heights up to approx. 3000 m. Nevertheless, we have been equipping mountaineers and expeditions since 1992, who keep telling us that the warmers work well even at extreme heights. Activation time, warmth duration and max. temperature always depend on the environment in which the warmers are activated. The oxygen supply plays an important role in this. At high altitudes, the activation time is longer than under "normal European conditions.

CAN I TAKE WARMERS WITH ME ON THE PLANE?

Our warming pads can be transported on the plane without any problems. However, we recommend that you clarify this in advance with the airline.

IS THERE A MINIMUM ORDER QUANTITY?

There is no minimum order quantity. We deliver any desired quantity.

CAN I RETURN OR EXCHANGE ORDERED GOODS?

You have a 14-day right of revocation. To exercise the right of withdrawal, the goods must be returned within the 14-day period to THE HEAT COMPANY, Ennspark 20, 5541 Altenmarkt, Austria. If incomplete, damaged or used goods are returned, the customer may be entitled to compensation for lost value. You shall bear the regular costs of the return shipment if the delivered goods correspond to those ordered and if the price of the goods to be returned does not exceed an amount of 40 Euro or if, in the case of a higher price of the goods, you have not yet paid the consideration or a contractually agreed partial payment at the time of revocation. Otherwise the return is free of charge for you. The purchase price of the returned item will be refunded to you after the return has been handled. If you return the goods within the 14-day period, the amount paid by you will be transferred to your account (bank, credit card or PayPal).

Return:
If you would like to exchange an item, please return the item to us with the return label we have provided and simply place a new order.

This way you will receive the desired item as quickly as possible. The purchase price of the returned item will be refunded to you after your return parcel has been processed.

Return label:
We will provide you with a return label for the return shipment and, if necessary, documents for customs clearance. Returns without a return label provided by us may result in delays in processing and may lead to return shipping costs.
